Application Tools and Spray Training
As many of you may be aware, Andura wall and roof coatings need specialist equipment for the most efficient application and results as we are unlike typical paints that just require a brush or roller. we operate on the basis of using two styles of pump and spraying equipment, one for textured coating like AnduraTex and the other for smooth coatings as well as our RoofGard. below are our recommended tip sizes and equipment we think will provide you and the homeowner with the best and the most long-lasting results.

At Andura we offer spray training for tradesmen looking to expand their knowledge and training to cater for specialised exterior wall coatings, we provide a day of training free of charge in our advanced spray booth where you can learn how to apply all our coatings as well as other crucial information that will help you on your journey to becoming a certified contractor for specialised wall coatings.
AnduraTex
AnduraTex needs to be applied with a Graco President 10:1 sprayer for the best results, this consists of an air-assisted airless sprayer which is powered and driven by compressed air. These can be rented or bought through multiple vendors depending on what financially works for you, but it is important to note that this product NEEDS an air-assisted airless sprayer to be applied.

This sprayer usually has a 6mm or 1/4" tip for spraying AnduraTex.
Smooth coatings
for smooth coatings and roof coatings an airless sprayer is required, we recommend a tip thou of 25-27 for our smooth products. Some designs of aireless sprayers let you connect two guns to one machine meaning two people can be using it at one time. however, it is possible to use a brush and roller with any of Anduras smooth coatings which may be preferable with any touch-up work that needs to be done.
